Server rules

Short list, plainly written. Everything here comes down to one thing: don’t ruin the game for someone else. Every rule has its own link, so you can point someone straight at it.

Breaking any of these gets you one of the steps below

Not allowed

  1. Rule 1

    Griefing and stealing

    Do not break, burn or rebuild what someone else made, and do not take from their chests. If a build looks abandoned, it still is not yours.

  2. Rule 2

    Cheats and exploits

    No x-ray, fly, kill aura, auto-clickers or macros. If you find a bug that gives an unfair advantage, report it — using it counts as cheating.

  3. Rule 3

    Harassment and hate

    No racism, threats, sexual harassment or targeting someone until they leave. Banter is fine until the other person asks you to stop.

  4. Rule 4

    Lagging the server

    No builds made to overload the server, no contraptions left running for nothing, and no mob farms past a reasonable size.

  5. Rule 5

    Alt accounts for advantage

    One account per person for events, votes and rewards. Alts are fine for playing; using them to claim the same reward twice is not.

  6. Rule 6

    Real-money trading

    Aetheryte, items and accounts are not for sale for real money. Donations support the server and buy nothing in game.

Encouraged

  • Help newcomers

    Everyone started at level 1 with nothing. A spare pickaxe costs you little.

  • Play together

    Parties share XP, and the best places on the map were built by more than one person.

  • Report problems

    Tell us on Discord — with a screenshot if you have one. We cannot fix what we do not see.

  • Fight fair

    If you fight another player, take the fight and take the loss. Spawn camping and gear-baiting are not fights.

Everything above is just what that means in practice. When something is not on the list, this line still applies — and it is what we look at first.

What happens if you break them

Breaking a block by accident and emptying someone's base are not the same thing.

  1. 1

    A word

    First time, and nothing was destroyed: we tell you to stop. That is usually the end of it.

  2. 2

    Temporary ban

    Repeated, or damage was done: a few days off. Anything you took gets rolled back where we can.

  3. 3

    Permanent ban

    Cheating, hate, or coming back to do the same thing again. Your statistics stay on the site — we do not rewrite history.

Bans have been lifted before

Think we got it wrong?

Send an appeal — tell us your in-game name and what happened, and we will look at the logs. Arguing about it in chat has never lifted a ban.

Saw something wrong?

Report it on Discord — with a screenshot if you have one. We cannot fix what we do not see, and it is also the fastest way to ask about a rule.
